Uncommonly Creative

After a bit of a battle I finally have my Creative commons License. It took me a while to read through everything carefully and to understand all the different variables. I had a bit of a struggle when actually choosing a license and got a bit confused over the explanantions of international/ported licenses. Maybe they could have explained it in a better and less jargonny way or perhaps its just my brain shutting down on a Friday afternoon. I'm still getting to grips with blogger too so finding the section to edit the actual code took a few minutes and then a bit of trial and error to get it in the right place but eventually - hooray - its done.

On the whole it seems like a great idea and I think bridges the gap between old school copyright law and the everything on the internet is free/just cut and paste attitude, allowing people to share their work but giving people perameters at the same time. Like it.

Bloggle

I am a bit of a latecomer to the 23 things programme, so I have a bit of catching up to do. I have had a play around with widgets, which I liked and can see how they could be really fun and useful if used imaginatively.
And obviously I have set up my own blog. This was fairly easy and intuitive I found. I was happy to find that I could save drafts of posts and that there were lots of different options for customising everything.

I'd like to be able to do a wordcount of my posts though, but can't find an option for that.
